Tyrone’s All-Ireland semi-final postponed until Aug 21

TYRONE’S All-Ireland Championship semi-final against Kerry has been pushed back a week as a result of Covid related complications within the camp.

The game was due to go ahead this Sunday, but the Tyrone County Board successfully sought a postponement after a number of players either tested positive or were forced to self-isolate in recent days.

It’s now been pushed back by six days until the following Saturday, and the head honchos at Croke Park have also decided to reschedule the All-Ireland senior football final to September 4th so the victors will have at least a fortnight to prepare.

It is understood that Tyrone’s county officials have been working closely with the Public Health Authority since the outbreak, and the entire team and management were tested on Saturday morning.
